Straight From Our Orchard to Your Kitchen (How It Works)

Most nuts on grocery shelves were harvested long ago and processed within an inch of their life. That’s not the case here. No overprocessing, everything is grown, harvested, dried naturally, rich in nutrients, and shipped directly from the California country farm to your door—raw, unpasteurized, and in season.

Briden Wilson Orchard gives you almonds and walnuts that:

  • Taste great (confirmed by dozens of happy reviews and feedback)

  • Support brain and heart health

  • Align with keto, low-carb, and high-protein lifestyles

  • Stay true to nature: no preservatives, no heat pasteurization

Every batch is grown with care, not chemicals. Each order is packed with intention, not filler. And if you’ve never cooked with walnuts in olive oil, now’s the time. A dash of olive oil brings out the richness in anything from roasted veggies to Sunday pasta. It’s a simple upgrade. But a powerful one.

Meet the Family Behind the Farm

When we bought the land now known as Briden Wilson Farm back in 2003, the end goal wasn't to start a "business," but to raise a family, get back to something quieter. I, Rebecca, my husband, Tom, and our kids- one daughter and four sons- planted trees, raised animals, and worked with the soil, not against it. And slowly, this farm became more than a home.

In May 2022, tragedy struck when Tom passed in an airplane accident, leaving difficult decisions about the farm's future. After careful consideration, the choice was made to maintain Briden Wilson Farm as Tom's legacy, a place for children and grandchildren to return home and connect with memories of their father. The farm continues as a testament to Tom's dream and a commitment to the land.

That's why everything grown at Briden Wilson Farm is about quality, not mass production. The organic-grown almonds and walnuts reflect years of care and a deep respect for soil health. Harvested with timing, stored with intention, and shipped when still truly fresh.

Word from the Owner, Rebecca Dafoe

HI I'm Rebecca Dafoe, owner of Briden Wilson Farm,  Let me share with you a little of my story and how Briden Wilson Farm was established.

Tom (my late husband) and I, Rebecca, established Briden Wilson Farm in 2003 when we decided that we needed to raise our kids in the country. Tom, coming from a farming background from the Midwest, was excited about the new farming adventure. Owning a piece of land he could call his own and make it prosper was a life-long dream of his.

We moved onto our property with hopes and dreams to raise our family on a farm and instill a love for the land, agriculture and farming into each one of our kids. Having 1 girl and 4 boys, each one had a part in helping out from season to season throughout their growing up years.

Farm life became a lifestyle, and hard work was not an option but what it took to get the job done. The kids all learned how to drive a tractor, run a weed wacker and use a shovel! But more than that, we were able to instill in them a strong faith and a hard work ethic that is hard to come by these days, and I feel blessed to have been able to give them that foundation.

In May of 2022, my life was turned upside down. My dear Tom had an airplane accident and went on to his eternal home in heaven. This tragedy hit our family hard, and with it brought questions of whether or not to keep the farm and business going or to sell and move away.

Given time to process, I, Rebecca, made the decision to keep the farm and keep Briden Wilson Farm up and running. I have a new love for the farm now. There is something special about keeping the farm “A legacy for Tom”, the dream he started that I can carry on and keep going for my kids and grandkids. The farm is a place now for the kids and grandkids to come back to, home, and all the memories of their father. It’s a comforting feeling to know that even though Tom is no longer here on this earth in person there will always be a part of him here on this farm, in this dirt.

Life is a journey, never take it for granted, and live every day to its fullest!
