    Simple Cooking Instructions for Fluffy Rice

    • The key to perfect Jasmine rice is a lower water-to-rice ratio to maintain separation and fluffiness.
    1. Rinse (Optional, but recommended): Place 1 cup of rice in a fine-mesh strainer and rinse briefly under cool water.
    2. Combine: Add 1 cup of rice and 1 ¼ cups of cold water or broth to a small, heavy-bottomed pot.
    3. Boil & Simmer: Bring to a full boil, then immediately cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to the lowest setting and cook for 15 minutes.
    4. Steam: Remove the pot from heat (do not lift the lid!) and let the rice steam for another 10 minutes.
    5. Serve: Gently fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

    Rice Cooker Friendly? Absolutely. Use the same 1 cup rice to 1.25 cups water ratio.
