From the heart of Rebecca-Don't Stop!

When hard times come, we can’t stop!

There are seasons in life when simply getting through the day feels like an accomplishment.

Hard times have a way of settling into every part of us — our thoughts, our bodies, our energy, and even our hope. Negativity can quietly drain us. It can make us tired, anxious, unfocused, and discouraged. Sometimes it feels easier to give up than to keep moving forward.

But I have learned something through the hardest seasons of my life:

We cannot stop.

Even when life changes in ways we never imagined. Even when grief enters our home. Even when fear, uncertainty, exhaustion, or heartbreak try to take hold of us.

We have to keep taking small steps forward.

I have faced many trials in my life. Some were smaller struggles — wondering how bills would get paid or how everything would come together. Others changed my life forever, like losing my husband suddenly and finding myself carrying the weight of grief while continuing on as a mother, a farmer, and the heart behind this farm.

During the hardest moments, one of the most important things I learned was this:

Do not try to solve your entire future in one day.

Take life one day at a time.

Sometimes one hour at a time.

Do the next thing that needs to be done.

Stay focused on today.
Keep moving, even slowly.

When we spend too much time worrying about how we will survive the rest of our lives, we become overwhelmed by the weight of it all. But when we focus on today — on this moment — life becomes a little more manageable.

I also learned how important gratitude truly is.

Even in painful seasons, there are still blessings around us if we are willing to look for them. Sometimes they are big blessings, and sometimes they are the smallest things:

Hot coffee in the morning.
A roof over our heads.
Food on the table.
A loyal friend.
Animals waiting to be fed.
The sound of birds in the orchard.
Breath in our lungs.

Those small blessings matter.

They remind us that life is still happening around us, even in the middle of pain.

So today, I encourage you to pause for a moment and think of three things you are grateful for.

Not because life is perfect.

Not because the struggles are gone.
But because gratitude helps break the cycle of negativity and reminds us there is still goodness worth holding onto.

And sometimes, that small shift is what helps us keep going.

Look up and keep moving forward,

Rebecca
