Cooking Directions

Use 1 cup dry green lentils to 3 cups water or broth.

Sort and rinse lentils thoroughly before cooking. Add lentils and liquid to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for approximately 20–30 minutes, or until tender. Lentils will expand as they cook, so be sure to use a large enough saucepan.
